Before creating plot files you must Setup the Plotter Driver (just one time)
Open your drawing in AutoCad, then choose:
- File
- Plotter Manager
- Add-A-Plotter Wizard
- Next
- Highlight the My Computer button
- Next
- Under Manufactures, highlight Hewlett Packard
- Under Models, highlight DesignJet 755CM C3198A
- Next, Continue, Next
- At the top of the page, choose Plot to File
- Next, Finish
Create Plot Files in AutoCad
Open your drawing in AutoCad, then choose:
- File
- Plot, Plot Device
- Under Plotter Configuration window, highlight DesignJet 755CM
- Under Plot to File, check" Plot to File"
- Plot Settings
- Under Paper Size, select your paper size
- Under Plot Scale, select your scale
- Full Preview
- If this preview is correct, click the right button on your mouse(right click)
- Plot
The new .plt file will be located in the same folder as your original .dwg file. The .plt file is the file that we need for printing. Burn it/them to a disk, or email it to ABI:
- Your Name and Phone Number
- How many of each sheet
- On what media (bond , vellum, mylar)
- Bind the sets or not
- Will call or Delivery (to where?)
- When do you need it
